hi I am new to smarty and i am trying to additional functionality to an application that uses smarty.

I have assigned a multi-dimensional array from a mysql database to smarty.

the array holds an id, name and price as attributes.

i want to be able to use a javascript onchange function to set a variable for the name, price and id for the selected item from the dropdown list.

I have read the documentation and see that html_option would seem to be the correct way to go. But I am at a loss how to use different value attributes.
