I have tried using the gzip plugin. It works really well on my systems. However one of my clients reported an error on their system
The only thing I can think of is the proxy server is saying gzip is ok when it's not. I know the client is using win 98 with ie 6 so I thought they should be ok. Any ideas? |

I had some problems with gzip, cause I use $smarty->autoload_filters to load gzip. So each time, when I use fetch - gzip also runs... _________________ http://party.com.ua |

if you use apache use mod_gzip. that's a much more appropiate layer to do content-compression for http-transport, IMHO. |
