Hi guys, complete newbie to Smarty here.
I'm just wondering if it's more efficient to place the static content in the .tpl file or call it using {$LANG.whatever} from the appropriate language file. My website is for English speakers primarily so...
Or should I be placing static content in the .php file instead?
Thanks in advance. |

There's no easy answer to this question.
Should you place them in config files? Or call language resources using external plugin? What to do if your site need to support both RTL and LTR rendering?
Moreover, why should you use only one scheme?
Do as you see fit. Just don't overengineer it. |

Thanks AnrDaemon,
I was just wondering if there's a "right" way to do it. I guess I'll do a few different versions and see how much difference each approach makes. |
