I have a small problem running smarty on WinSrv2012r2 IIS 8.5.

Actually everything is running like expacted... smarty->display shows me the cached template.

The only thing is when i render the template new it doesnt write into the cache. It simply adds an empty file with some header informations in it. So my tool only works when i do my changes in the tpl and than edit this in the cache file as well.
I dont get any errors...

Seems to me like a permisson problem. But i granted all permissions to the users that even can view this. I added full permissions to IIS_USRS, IUSR, Administrators, Users and everyone. But this still does not work.

Any ideas ?

In your PHP code, please have this statement:
Code:
$smarty->testInstall();

Please let us know what the output is.

It was over a year ago. I'm sure by this time they have solved their problem.

That just now (well, yesterday) showed up as being an unread post in the index.

Must have been a burp in the forums.
