I started a huge project. I noticed when I use my template, im starting to do a lot of unessasary cut and paste example:
6 menu's gives me 6 html pages using the same design. I think that is a waste not to mention some of these pages have submenus (still using the same design). I did not want to use frames (or iframes) so thought about looking into smarty.
how can I use smarty to simplify my repititious page design. I know i will still need the 6 pages, but thought maybe there is a way I could limit the repititious code.
would smarty work for something like this? if so is there a sample code somewhere on the forum (or provide one)
I did some excessive search on google and none of the tutorials focused on this. just more of the "how-to".
thank you |
