Hi there, I start using smarty recently, I really enjoy it.
But i can't parse a file bigger than 8k. After the file reach 8.192 bytes it stop parsing em display a imcomplete html. Could someone try it, and if works, help me to find where's the problem. I test in 2 servers and got the same bug.
I hope this to be a newby problem, cause I want to keep using smarty forever.
thanks |

Nor can I, this seems to be a problem with your PHP or your method of using Smarty since I am using templates well over 10k in alot of projects. _________________ "Imagine a school with children that can read and write, but with teachers who cannot, and you have a metaphor of the Information Age in which we live." -Peter Cochrane |

Please post some relevant code.
Can you otherwise process files > 8K with PHP (I mean without Smarty involved) ? |

after a exausting day testing and retesting, I found that it's a bug on php 4.3.1 so I back to php-4.2.3 and WORKs, so I go to php.net and found the fresh release php-4.3.2RC3 and WORK too!!!
boots: the funny is that a can process a php file bigger then 10k, just using smarty I got problem. Looks like if smarty usage a memory bigger then 8k it's stop and flush out what smarty have parsed, like a limit.
but before change php version I try change the php.ini, httpd.conf and nothing help.
thanks guys
sorry my poor english |
