|
|
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to force Smarty use existing cache, even if expired.
It could make a website browsable even if database is down.
It works great while cache_lifetime is now over, but there is no easy way to control cache lifetime, or when a template was cached, or so.
With something like this :
$smarty -> force_cache = true;
We could easily choose to use cache rather than compiling files (especially when we CANNOT compile, because database, for example, is down).
I'm trying to set it up for my site, but I don't understand exactly how function smarty_core_read_cache_file works.
Thanks |
