strip_tags modification (strip all except tag a,b,c)

Hi,

I know that there is a strip_tags modifier which strips all HTML Tags.

http://smarty.php.net/manual/en/language.modifier.strip.tags.php

But has someone written a modification of this plugin in which i can say, strip all tags from the given tags except e.g. "<a><b>"?

Otherwise i will write one myself.
