The forum seems to be parsing out ?> which makes it real hard to paste XML code. It only happens something though like on http://www.phpinsider.com/smarty-forum/viewtopic.php?t=646. I have confirmed that on another forum running phpBB 2.0.5 it doesn't have this problem then again it doesn't have the php code highlight addon I think its the php code highlight addon thats removing it thinking its an end php statement.

Well I found the problem and a workarround it is the php code highlight mod. If you dont start all your [php]...[/php] blocks with <? then it will go through and replace all <? and ?> throughout the entire post. Simple enough workarround is to start all your code with php tags.
