Hi there,
After hear every one talking about PEAR:DB, I try it and like. But my server has restriction in open_base_dir. So, how can I install PEAR classes outside my site root( I mean, in the right place to install pear) and include it in my files?
I install it in my site dirs and work fine. But, I develop many sites and host in this server, how can I install pear in a unique place to include from every sites without turn off open_base_dir?

put multiple directories in the value of open_basedir. this is documented in
http://php.net/manual/en/features.safe-mode.php#ini.open-basedir
