Witam

Zależy, co rozumiesz poprzez cache'owanie PHP. Jeśli chodzi Ci o mechanizmy typu MMTurck, czy PHPA, to nie - to nie to samo.
Cache'owanie Smarty to nic innego, jak generowanie statycznych (tzn. całkowicie pozbawionych kodu PHP) stron (X)HTML i zwracanie ich zamiast kolejnego wykonywania skryptu PHP, kt?ry dopiero taką stronę (taki kod) wygeneruje.
