|
|
Hi everybody,
I'm new to this forum and to Smarty.
I'm currently evaluating open source CMS systems and I came across a very interesting one, TikiCMS. TikiCMS works with Smarty.
My question is, does anyone have experience installing and/or running Smarty (and/or TikiCMS) on a SunOS / Solaris plattform ?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks _________________ Marianne |

I just installed Smarty to Solaris without any problems whatsoever. As for Tiki: if your ISP has decided to run PHP in safe_mode, please read the instruction in the tiki manual written by me, they should work in any environment. They are titled "Installing Tiki without Linux root rights"
You can find the instructions here as well :

Feel free to ask for installation assistance.
