Is there a "Smarty" way of doing sessions?
I'm trying to convert some of my poorly written PHP pages into something new (with a new layout), and figured templating would be the proper way of doing things....
However, I can't find anything in the documentation about sessions, and I was wondering if its best to write PHP to handle the session registration and whatnot.
Thanks |

Logic is for PHP the display is for Smarty. Smarty is just a template engine its not going to make your teeth whiter, get rid of the germs that cause bad breath, or provide you with a special way of doing sessions. Handle everything you can in PHP then pass off the results of the logic to Smarty for display. _________________ "Imagine a school with children that can read and write, but with teachers who cannot, and you have a metaphor of the Information Age in which we live." -Peter Cochrane |
