If your going to stray down that path of using operators which might roll into dependency checking i vote no.
The business logic should handle those questions.

first both of you brought up good points. after my post i went back and looked at the validator class and recognized it probabally wouldnt be as easy as i thought.. mohrt you are right about the other ... |

as of now, it doesn't appear that the validator clears the input field, if that input fails the validation.
is it out of the question to get it to do so? the wiped input field would j ... |
