Smarty

Hi all,

i have this problem:

i need to parse smarty functions onto the template but i figure thats imposible so the way im thinking to solve it is to use the smarty object that i created to call a function from the plugins and that should return me the html i need which in turn i can then parse the html as is to the template.

the reason im doing this, is for dynamic control creation on the template.

so my question is how can i do something along the line of:

[php:1:dd866077a4]

<?php

$smarty->html_select_date;

?>

[/php:1:dd866077a4]

since its a plugin and not part of the class.

please can anyone help.
