There is only a single set of templates, the site uses a main template for general layout and smaller templates that fit into the different templates areas (i.e. menu1, menu2, banner, main content, childs, grand childs, ..)
When a user visits an item (content) the system sees if the user has requested a language (query string) or should show the default language... once iGesWeb (the CMS) knows about the language it goes to database (using adoDB library) and gets the item, the contents and all the menus in the requested language.
For some labels (home, search, ...) the correponding text is stored in smarty configvars files. The system loads a common file and a specific language file.
The cache identifier has the language on it, so there is no possible mix. _________________ Tecsisa |
