I haven't actually tried it but I think Smarty would benefit from any optimizer out there. _________________ Darn computers always do what I tell them to instead of what I want them to do. |

Smarty compiles the templates to PHP, so any significance PHP gains with the optimizer should be seen. But in the past, many PHP op-code caches don't play well with the zend optimizer (APC, etc.) so it's not typically used. |
