All the xhtml is generated by smarty. The boxes on the middle are templates fetched with smarty as well, everything is done with smarty.

CJAX is a lightweight ajax engine. Specifically dedicated to ajax. It integrates to applications and other frameworks such as codeignater or cakephp, which are general purposes frameworks. Cjax also integrates well with JavaScript frameworks basically it lives in harmony with other frameworks not in competition, it gives you and edge and full control and access and builds a bridge between server and client, it provides a framework that allows you to execute JavaScript in PHP.
