Hello there  .
Okay, I couldn't find anything nice to work with Smarty Paginate and mod rewrite so I added few lines of code to each function.paginate file and here it is. I decided to post it here - maybe it would be helpful for some people looking for it, just like I was yesterday.
Script is written for simple usage when you need to change link like index.php?section=gallery&page=1 to something like gallery-1.html. I didn't test it in complicated links like index.php?section=gallery&page=40&subpage=10 and i think it won't work or will work if you write some hacks in template code  .
