smarty noob here. 2nd project. i just installed 3.1.4 and get this error when rendering a template:
Warning: strftime() [function.strftime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for '-5.0/no DST' instead in projects\library\Smarty-3.1.4\libs\sysplugins\smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 148
i'm not sure what caused this and how to resolve it. any help is appreciated. |

Have a look at ini.date.timezone and then either change your php.ini or drop in Code: | ini_set('date.timezone', 'Europe/Berlin'); | (or wherever your system's at) _________________ Twitter |
