When {foreach} fails to compile, it throws a SmartyCompilerException.

Syntax error in template "file:/snippet.tpl" on line 5 "{foreach}{/foreach}" missing "from" attribute

I want to throw such an exception in my custom plugins on runtime with template name and line where it's occured.

Code:

smarty_function_custom($params, $template) {
   if (isset($params['required'])===false) throw new Exception('Missing parameter');
}
