I have some HTML files that I want in a separate directory but I still would like them to use the headers and footers and all the other smarty includes. How does one go about this. |

guess what you are looking for is something like this...
http://www.smarty.net/docs/en/language.function.block.tpl
here you can have planty of folders and include the header structure in every single file... also you can path a layout through the files.... |

but he sayed Quote: | ...but I still would like them to use the headers and footers and all the other smarty includes.... |
so he propably goes best with blocks. In the end its just a simply include but getting structure in this... blocks could be recommended. |

Just because someone don't know English grammar it is not a reason to assume something. |
