Hi.
Using PHP & smarty - if a user logs in to one of my restricted areas, logged-in - is there a way that i can display the HTML output (from templates) to the user as normal, but ALSO save the HTML coding into a directory somewhere - For later review.
IE, a user reports a problem.
I mark the user-name somewhere (i'll do that myself).
if that same user-name logs in (ignoring any other users) - It saves a copy of the HTML output to a file...
I can then review it when i get back online & see the same thing the user sees.
I only need a single example of this, & i can do the rest (IE WHICH user to record, & / or which screen(s) to record.
I'm guessing it'll be done in the main php script and not the template itself - but is there a way to cache the template output for a specific user/screen ?
Edit - Once i know how its done, I can do the programming to view the HTML output (not the HTML code) - as the user sees it, and go from previous/next page of the user and see any errors. |

Just implement a way to impersonate any given user in your application.
Then YOU will see what other users see.
That would be a clearer way to solve your issue. |
