|
|
In the course of developing RinkAtlas.com with GoogleMapAPI, I noticed that addresses typed into the "End address" were actually used as the "Start address" in submissions to http://maps.google.com/maps. The result is that "From here" always generates directions as if "To here" had been clicked.
Is this what other people using GoogleMapAPI are seeing?
It seems to me that a fix for this problem would involve:
1) invoking a JavaScript function when the "From here" link is clicked
2) having the function swap the contents of the "saddr" and "daddr" form elements and display and hide the correct labels and fields
Does this seem right?
If you have any recommendations about how to make these changes to the GoogleMapAPI code base, let me know.
