|
|
Hi all,
just a quick question... I am using the googlemapAPI file and this seems to work ok for everything except I can't display a map image...I have the sidebar but just a gray box where the map image would be. Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this. I am not using PEAR so I have removed all the "connections to this" code but do I need to use PEAR in order to display the map image?? |

Try the demo, get that working. Then compare that with your page, see what isn't setup similarly. Check your javascript console for errors. Check where you include javascript, where you call onLoad(), etc. |

hi mohrt
I have done that but even the demo page doesn't display the image...
basically i commented out all the getCache, putCache functions in the API so I think it could be because of that somehow. The thing is I don't want to store values in a DB....
any ideas? |

Don't comment anything out in the API. Start with a clean library and get the demo running. If you don't want to use caching, don't set the DSN (I think, I've never tried to use without the DB, as this is a waste of resources.) |
