|
|
Hi all,
I have installed & made Smarty Menu worked ... It's nice, thanks Monte Ohrt ...
If I create only 2 level of submenus (like the demo example of Smarty Menu ) , it work fine.
But as I add more level (submenus) it failed. Example: I want to make a sub menu of 'Google News' or 'Google Groups' in the demo page, and another sub-sub menu of it. I got error ...
Can SmartyMenu be used to create more than 2 submenu level ? Have any body get success with it ?
Thanks.
Regards,

Smarty Menu is super old, there are much newer javascript/css libraries that help build menus much better. I don't think Smarty Menu has been touched in some years now. I'd try googling for javascript/css cascading menus, and just implement that code in Smarty tempaltes. |

Hi Monte Ohrt,
Many thanks for your scripts and very QUICK reply ...
Actually SmartyMenu a nice scripts.
Anyway, can you give me some tips how to make menus in Smarty?
I need to make something like this:
if $user_manager, there is menu UserManagement_menu (and it's submenus)
if $user_sales, he just has menu Sales_menu (and it's submenus)
etc...etc...
Thanks.
Best Regards,

like I say, I'd go find some javascript/css menus and integrate them. There are plenty of nice ones out there, just use google. |
