The following line of code works with Smarty 2:

Code:
{config_load file = top_level_dir.cfg}

When I use Smarty 3 Alpha the browser returns the following error:

Code:
Code: 0
Error: Syntax Error in template "G:\Tony\Webwork\private\libs\smarty\/templates\indexer.tpl" on line 1 "{config_load file = top_level_dir.cfg} " - Unexpected ".", expected one of: "}" , " "
File: G:\Tony\Webwork\private\libs\smarty\sysplugins\internal.templatecompilerbase.php
Line: 264

Why is that?

Filenames must be specified as string.

Code:
{config_load file = 'top_level_dir.cfg'}

The Smarty3 parser is here more restrictive to avoid ambiguities.
