|
|
Hi,
I have cms written for smarty 2.6.26.
Now I changed old smarty with 3.0 Beta 5 version.
Everything works great and It's realy nice to have php5 smarty with all new functions. Well done!
There's only one thing... Recursion does not work as it did before.
I have old templates calling 'defun' function which does not work anymore.
Or I do not know how to use it
This is the plugin I'm using
lammfellpuschen.de/compiler.defun/ for older smarty.
I copied compiler.defun.php to plugins directory but no success.
Anybody got defun working with smarty3 ? |

This plugin does not work with Smarty 3 as it makes use of somer Smarty 2 internals. Smarty 3 has a complete different structure.
But this sort of functionallity is already in Smarty 3.
See the section about the {function} tag in the README. |

There is already a bugfix for that in the SVN. |
