I'm starting to build a new website and was wondering if smarty 3 was stable enough to be used, or if i should use smarty 2 instead?

| RC1 of Smarty3 will be released during the next couple of days. The beta version are already used in production systems since longer time. Until RC1 is released you should use the latest SVN version as it does contain a couple of changes since beta 8. |
