Does anybody have experience with smarty and jpcache working together?

I use Smarty for templates and cache, but I would like to juice all the performance possible from a set of pages that rarely update (weekly/monthly) and will be heavily requested...

Does this 2 cacheing systems will colide, or they can work together reliably with considering results?
