I wasn't sure if I should call this a bug.

I found that in the SmartyBC.class.php it requires Smarty.class.php I think this should be require_once. In case you already included Smarty.class.php.

But I have the feeling I don't need the SmartyBC.class.php file anyway.

I got this error from my install manager class which checks for classes it can install in my lib directory.

SmartyBC is only for users upgrading from Smarty2 if they do want to continue to use the Smarty2 API.

Ideally you would include either SmartyBC.class.php or Smarty.class.php, not both.

I do understand you aren't suppose to load them both but I have a class that is looking for specific classes, which loads both of them in the search.

Seems that you are unusual way to load your classes.

Anyway the fix is now in the SVN trunk and will later be included in 3.1.17
