Hi!
Does anybody have a function oder plugins to translate variables into the entities? I had a site with a mySQL-db and the users can insert their inputs. But if I put it on the site and it's for example ÄÖÜ the Site can only be viewed on M$-IE. My phoenix browser has problems, so I want to convert all none english letter/signs to their htmlentities in the display function.
How can help me?

http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.htmlentities.php htmlentities can do that if you pass it a charset. _________________ "Imagine a school with children that can read and write, but with teachers who cannot, and you have a metaphor of the Information Age in which we live." -Peter Cochrane |

Hi!
I read the documentfile and found an included modifier:
Code: | {$variable|escape:"htmlall"} |
That is the modifier I was looking for.
Never the less, thanks to you AZTEK for your very fast hint.
