|
|
I do a lot of WordPress sites and I've been contracted to work on a Smarty PHP site with a membership functionality. My client wants a simple WordPress blog that's easy for him to maintain, but which segregates content based on whether the user is a member on his Smarty site.
Is there a way I can pass the information about whether a user is logged in from the Smarty site to the WordPress site so I can use this info to determine which blog users will view?
Thanks! |

Look into WordPress integration API's.
Since WordPress uses cookie-based storage-less sessions, you'll have to know the shared secret of the WordPress site to integrate with your Smarty site. |
