|
|
Ive been using Smarty for a long time, but have always hand coded my smarty and HTML templates and this just isnt cutting it anymore
I need to migrate to a proper build chain, using sass, and grunt or maybe gulp, and perhaps coffeescript or HAML etc
I guess I need to find a chain of build tools which are able to accept input files (which by definition include smarty directives) and they then output smarty templates which my site can use at runtime
Could use some guidance here please.
Would love to hear from anyone who is using Smarty in this way (I worry that a robust solution would involve migrating away from Smarty to something else, which would be a shame)
Thanks |

So, you want to template templates?
I don't see a problem with it.
You just write your stuff that way. |
