Hi
This is my first post, I'm really new using smarty actually I started to used here in my job, one of the problem that we have is that we have the Smarty-3.1.21-dev version, how can we update to the last one?

Actually I´m working locally, in a wamp server in localhost, later we have to update the server version, how can I do that?

Can I download the last version of Smarty and copy out site in smarty folder ?
Is that possible?

It is possible.
https://github.com/smarty-php/smarty/releases/tag/v3.1.32
Just to CYA, rename the project's current Smarty folder to something else.
Unzip. There is a shortcut file in the /libs/ folder that should be deleted. FTP the contents of the /libs/ folder to (what was) the project's Smarty folder.
Delete any cached templates.
Test.
(There would be more to do if working in a dev environment using current best practices.) |
