Hello.
I saw a reference to hiding comments in another thread in this forum, and see this line of code in one of the Smarty tutorials.
{* the following will be all run into one line upon output *}
- i saw it in the STRIP page.
im not sure what it is called, but Does this allow me to put comments in my templates but they will NOT show up on the html output ?
Whats the official name of the option ? so i can look it up |

Yes, these blocks are stripped at compile-time.
No, you don't have to explicitly use STRIP for it. |
