|
|
I'm trying to use the assign="var" in the validate add-on, because having such a long {validate ........} in place unnerves the template designer. I intend to add all of the {validate ...} to the top of the page so that they do not distort the template during the creative design process. (designers!)
Anyway I'm unable to get this feature to work. Inline works well. I thought it should be as simple as
{validate ............ assign="err"}
then else where I would have
{$err}
this does not seem to work. Advice? |

That is exactly how it should work, it seems to work for me? Are you using latest release, or CVS, or? |

It appears it was a browser cache problem. Everythings work correctly after flushing the cache. |
