|
I am using smarty, it works fine.
But I tried to use the SmartyValidate example.
But it did not work :
Code: | Fatal error: Smarty error: [in /home/.[]./Smarty/templates/form.tpl line 2]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'validate' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 576) in /home/.[]./Smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1088 |
Any suggestons and help?
Thanks

Of course I installed "SmartyValidate.class.php" in my include path and put the "validate_criteria.*.php" files in smarty/libs/plugins
I did install everything according to http://www.phpinsider.com/php/code/SmartyValidate/
My other smarty pages (SmartyML.class.php) all work
SmartyValidate only throws this error message if I use this {validate .... } tag.
I don't know what my problem is.
Do I have to make a $smarty->register.... ????
Thank you for your help!

You must be missing the "function.validate.php" file in the plugin directory. Not all the plugins are named "validate_criteria.*" |

Thank You!
You are a genius!
It's working now!
I missed copying these files into the plugin directory!
Thank you very much.
