Has anyone integrated the SmartyPaginate plugin with a MSSQL database?

From intial tests it appears like I will need to continue to create a pruned array to be sent to SmartyPaginate with only the data to be displayed because of the lack of the LIMIT in MS SQL.

Any help would be appreciated.
