I want to use SmartyPaginate in a member program that i made and there is already a session started because in every php file there is a requirement to another file that operates the sessions for the login, etc. Since SmartyPaginate requires a session_start(), and theres already a session, will that interfere? Is there a way to operate SmartyPaginate without the session_start() or is there another pagination add-on for Smarty that does not require a session_start()? Please help. |

If I'm not wrong, session_start does not destroi existing sessions so there should not be any problem with existing sessions (I do the same, and have no problem). |

If you already have a session open, then there is no need to call session_start() (you already did it.) |
