This is the error I'm getting and I just started working with smarty, and the demo can't run on my machine please help!! |

Try using absolute paths for the smarty directories and make sure the templates_c directory is writeable.
Also, in case you moved the script from another machine, try deleting the templates_c content and see if that fixes the issue. |

if all of your paths are correct it is definitly a permission issue!
this error occured on a windows host where I had the permiossion to write files in templates_c but not to modify them so *.tmp files resided in templates_c. now with even the rights to modify them everything works fine!
so doublecheck all your paths and make shure to have even rights to modify your files in templates_c!
to find out what the problem is just remove the @ from the unlink an rename calls in core.write_file.php. |

hi every one i can't how i can fix this problem i am exmined absoult path but the problem yet persists.
this problem cause when i launch the demo of smarty .
any one can help me.
