|
|
When caching is enabled and I for some reason (let's say periodic cleanup or upgrade of libs) want to clear all cache, the cached templates are deleted but all the directories (if subdirs=true) are still there. Is this standard behaviour or is there something with my permissions? It would be nice if I got delete these to with one simple command.
Thanks in advance! |

This is strange, I created a CRON job that executes on php filesystem script which initiates the Smarty class. This one executes:
$smarty->clear_all_cache();
$smarty->clear_compiled_tpl();
$smarty->clear_config();
But this does not seem to work, but when I use the same code in a PHP webpage all cache including the directories are deleted. What is this? |

Sounds like your cron job is executing as a user that does not have the same privledges as your webserver to the affected directories/files. |

user is root, when I do a var_dump() on the loaded smarty class I do get to see all the data but for some reason it doesn't inherit the options I set in the config. It's very strange ... |
