Sorry for the confusion, i meant to put $result.CUSTNO; i chopped off a bunch of array elements for simplicity.

And thanks for the @print_r tip, now I see the leading [0] array indexes.

is there a way for designers to see all the assigned variables and values? pretty much do a <{$smarty.assigned_vars|@print_r}> where the variable name is the key.

Hi ZeroFill.

I see you just updated your fix to almost the same thing I just came up with. The fix I used to correct my original post uses a string instead of an array to achieve the same result.

It looks like ZeroFill is using the technique for timing using my older {timeblock} template timerTotal page generation time

yep. it was boot's timeblock plugin. that feature was fun while it laste ...
