hey,
thanks for the reply. i just wasn't working on the project in the last 2 weeks. so i'm a bit late now.

so, yes i was using is_cached() on the wrong place. just realized it too late. sorry.

hello there,

first of all a little bit of code for better understanding. it's pretty simple.

i use Smarty 3.0b5.
caching: 2

_framework.tpl - this is what i display() in the end

Jup that's what i've made. Made a mistake by writing 'template_name' in my previous post. I meant 'template_dir_name' Rolling Eyes

Okay this is now much clearer for me.

So i've changed it to:

$cache_group = 'pagename|param1|param2'
$compile_id = 'template_name'

The current workaround is to inlcude the subtemplate nocache when it does include nocache code.

{include file="{$page}.tpl" page=$page nocache}

hello smarty community,

i need help with {nocache} from smarty3. it works fine until i use it in a
sub-template wich i {include} in my framework.tpl. let me explain and you'll see the error maybe. ...
