Hi,
I defined more than one plugin directory:
$smarty->plugins_dir[] = _BASE_DIR.'plugins1';
$smarty->plugins_dir[] = _BASE_DIR.'plugins2';
$smarty->plugins_dir[] = _BASE_DIR.'plugins3';

If there are more than one plugin in each directory smarty recognize only the first plugin in alphabetic order and ignore the rest of plugins in this directory!?! Error:

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in /test/index.tpl line 18]: [plugin] unknown tag - 'my_plugin' (core.load_plugins.php, line 118) in /lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1924

This isn't a feature, right?

Interesting that I am going to have to look into when I get a chance later. It is always a feature I am sure Smile

Hi AZTEK,

This is a tricky problem. For this moment I cant load any plugin outside the regular smarty plugin directory. For example if I move the assign function to a second plugin dir smarty will not recognize it.

Strange because before I was still able to load one plugin. Now nothing works.

Thanks,
Armand

Forget my postings for this moment. I think the problem comes from my application. Sorry to waste your time!!!
