I was wondering if there is any way that the data that php code gives to a template can be described. That way, for example, if I was making a PHP script, I could describe the data that the script generates(maybe in the script itself), give it to the designer, then they could do the design work.

Maybe it could be integrated into Dreamweaver where they could manipulate the data in a drag and drop fashion, just dragging it to where they want it on the page.

some one may have already done this.. but just wondering.

By adding {debug} to a template the designer get a popup window where he can see what data is passed to the template.
