Just another thing

I've tried the first example from fpdf.org manual:
Code:

<?php
define('FPDF_FONTPATH','font/');
require('/www/lib/fpdf/fpdf.php');

$pdf=new FPDF();
$pdf->AddPage();
$pdf->SetFont('Arial','B',16);
$pdf->Cell(40,10,'Hello World!');
$pdf->Output();
?>

It works fine with firefox but give the same popup in IE (open or download)
If it does matter anything, i'm using windows xp sp2, firewall off.

Greetings

Hi

I think it's a 'problem' with php5.

With php 5.0.2 I have an empty pdf. With php 4.3.7 works ok with Ie and Firefox.

Greetings

Hi

The 'bug' is Apache mod_gzip. I'll tryto see mod_gzip configuration in httpd.conf to keep both gzip and IE working.
No problems with Firefox.

Greetings

Just a thought, have you commented out the following in pdml.php

Code:

ob_start("ob_pdml");

I have having the same problems - blank PDFs. If the above line is not commented out, the pdf is parsed twice and you end up with a blank PDF. I checked the output buffer and it held the correct data, but then the pdml class parsed the contents of the output buffer and I ended up with nothing.

This was mentioned in the very first post in this thread, but I initially thought it just related to the output filter method.

Works for me! Very Happy

I know this thread was a long time ago, but I have only just stumbled upon this.

(bringing this up from the grave)

One thing I've had to do is add ob_end_clean() before any header calls in order for this to work properly.

Code:

    ob_end_clean();
    Header('Content-Type: application/pdf');
    Header('Content-Length: '.strlen($s));
    Header('Content-Disposition: inline; filename='.$filename);
